Policies

*We are committed to doing our part to stop the spread of Covid19 and protecting our immediate and greater community.

*We are committed to child safety and ensuring the wellbeing of your child at all times while at the school. Please read our Statement of Commitment to Child Safety.

*Students must be enrolled in at least one classical ballet class to be eligible to enrol in a Modern class.

*Students wanting to undertake an RAD examination (at Grade 1 and above) in 2023 MUST be enrolled in at least two ballet classes from the beginning of Term 1.

 

*For health and safety all medical/health conditions are to be reported to the school.

 

*Any students with anaphylaxis and/or asthma which requires treatment with an Epipen/Anapen and/or inhaler must bring these to each class. Students who require an Epipen, Anapen or Asthma inhaler will not be able to participate in classes unless they bring these.

*No film or photography is to be taken of students or staff unless on an approved watching day or permission has been granted by the principal.

 

*No choreography or training exercises are to be recorded or published.

*Uniform must be worn at all times during classes.

*Please ensure all clothing is clearly named, this way lost items can be returned to their owner.

*Term fees are to be paid in full within 14 days of the invoice being issued. Payment can be made in cash or by bank transfer. It is the responsibility of each family to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner. If you don't receive an invoice by the start of each term please email us.

*Late payment of term fees will incur a 10% additional late fee for each overdue week. Continual failure to pay fees may result in expulsion from the school.

*By submitting an enrolment form you are making a commitment to attend for the year. Discontinuation during the year must be communicated via writing and any outstanding fees (including Delayed Payment fees resulting from lack of timely communication) must be paid.

*The one off $33 enrolment fee per year exists to cover first aid supplies, insurance, APRA music licences etc and is non refundable. This also covers a mid year progress report and medal for each child.

*We encourage reading the Parent's Code of Behaviour from Ausdance (also endorsed by R.A.D.) It focuses on encouraging and supporting young dancers and their efforts.

*A trial class is available. $20 must be paid before trialling and if the student proceeds with enrolment, the $20 will be credited to the first invoice.

*Refunds cannot be given due to absence (regardless of notice given) but your child is encouraged to come and take another class during the week as a 'make up class.'
